Seaglass
Performing Arts was founded in 1993 eventually to support its four
artistic components: Seaglass Chorale, Seaglass Kids, Seaglass Overtones
and Seaglass Players.
Seaglass
is a community-based, non-profit organization that enjoys strong support
and a beneficial relationship with the people of southern Maine. Many
performances throughout the years have been dedicated to and benefited
other local non-profit organizations.

2002 - Chorale records its first CD, Voices.
2002 - Players: My Fair Lady
2003 - The Seaglass Chorale leads in the exalted purpose of worship
by singing the Choral Prelude at the National Cathedral in Washington,
DC.
2003 - Chorale records its second CD, Many Voices in Spirit,
now on sale
2003 - Players: Man of La Mancha
2003 - Chorale: Songs for Lovers
2003 - Players: The Fantastics
2004 - Kids: The Emperor's New Clothes
2004 - Chorale and full orchestra: Brahms' Requiem at St.
David's Church in Kennebunk and at Holy Family Church in Sanford.
2004 - Players: South Pacific
2004 - Chorale joins Paul Madore Chorale and North Shore Philharmonic
Orchestra at Salem State College (Massachusetts) to perform Brahms'
Requiem - this time in German.
2005 - Seaglass coordinates invitational concerts to benefit tsunami
survivors and, later, Katrina survivors.
2005 - Seaglass Overtones established
2005 - Players: Into The Woods
2005 - Kids: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
2006 - Players: Amahl and the Night Visitors
2006 - Players: Annie
2006 - Chorale: Messiah Sing-a-long
2007 - Kids: Gulliver's Travels
2007 - Chorale: Persechetti's Celebrations
2008 - Chorale: Of Winter Warmth to benefit Kennebunk residents
2008 - Chorale: Of A Rose
Throughout the years,
numerous and major events such as Medieval Festivals, Valentine's
Day Cabarets, Dinner Theatre, Harvest Moon Celebrations, and Christmas/classical/pops
concerts have been performed.
